truly, there may & does become a time when a single job [or income source/supply] may be too little for proper life-satisfaction; & increasing workload [a book says, "work harder & smarter"] becomes the obvious & most-beneficial immediate recourse

the concept of money & work, utility & freedom... work does bring joy; a sense of purpose; of satisfaction & accomplishment; of pride & value
