found an audiobook version so gave it a listen [having read the book previously]

still good -- a story about a "bear wolf" or "war wolf" or "bee wolf" lol, a warrior

Grendel arrives, killing a few; Beowulf slays his ass

Grendel's m'am attacks, prompting a battle in the water: Beowulf grabs a large sword of hers & deals a deathblow

he eventually travels afar & is eventually slain

such honor lol; well, at least he saved the crew & allowed for brief respite

i may be missing some deets
