this is good(!!)

Daniel's first memoir [i'd just finished his more recent one], we get a solid rundown of his background leading into his famous savant trials [memorizing pi, learning languages rapidly, playing cards...]; in his own phrasing

we hear about his finding love [coming out, etc.] & what homelife looks like w/ his partner

we hear of his practicing before the pi recitation [w/ struggles], & he at last tells us about his being Christian

good stuff
