“Cher, Part One” by Cher

well this was somethin’ different

we get Cher’s backstory, from childhood through her then-to-be acting career, & plenty of details within, especially her time w/ Sonny, childbearing, music, comedy show, divorce, other romances & marriages, etc.

she comes across as wise & lived, w/ plenty just taking steps forward amidst the chaos, going off feeling & instinct as she’s nearly terrorized repeatedly [in a milieu of ways], most notably her domineering first husband & counterpart, who fathers her daughter & plays a recurring role of support & problem throughout her life

good stuff(!)
