great book; really thoughtful

a "coming-of-age" story coupled w/ Gnosticism & psychoanalysis, lol [works well]

the protagonist meets people along his journey that teach him to grow in useful/helpful ways [sometimes], w/ a touch of mysticism & fantasy

this book explores the concept of god being light/positivity [only] or being a version that encompasses both [Abraxas more or less]

surprising ending, & ultimately a great book
