a story of a seasonal & long-term fire-lookout watchmen & his experiences

i'd played Firewatch, the game, which was super reminiscent of what he's describing here [in ways]

​​​​​​​a man, his dog, occasionally his visiting wife [& their meeting, awww]

from techniques & technologies of spotting fires [white smoke, etc.] & radio-etiquette, to the finer parts of living amongst mountains & nature in a box on stilts

lightning, novice relievers, etc.; lots to stay entertained here
