well... i started out really liking this one

thinking it's an honest, revealing memoir about a man's struggles, i plowed through, taking in the concepts -- until realizing about halfway through [7 hours in] that this is likely a large part fiction, as there is EXTENSIVE dialogue & novel-esque imagery being portrayed

so, w/ that in mind, i made it through the remainder, altho w/ much less interest -- determining that the author is likely trying to sell a lot of copies & to be renowned -- even if it's functionally a Portrait of contrived character

he goes through sobriety & relapse, family abuse, suicide attempts, recovery... 👍
