"Interior Chinatown" by Charles Yu

"Surrender" by Bono

book review by Riley Burnham 7/26/2023

whew, this could get brutal, although i'll keep it sharp

this was a 20+ hour audiobook [i cruised on 1.5+ speed], which was easy to listen to, although i stopped caring about the content entirely during Pt. 2; then things turned/changed

in the early portions we get some backstory & genuinely good band-mentions, which i enjoyed enough to keep going [plus the good production: he reads it & there's music/effect interludes]

Pt. 2 kicks in & we get the "causes"/politics portion, which REVEALS to me that this dude's a cog in the fraud-machine of big money

i basically lost any/all respect for his fidelity, as i suspect even his religious claims of affiliation are/were lies [he says he's Catholic although sounds crypto-Jewish, based on shoulder-rubbing & political insertion]

i'd guess the whole band is a product of some agency/intelligence get up [like a psy-op], where they take stagenames & aliases [Bono, The Edge... U2 spy planes... c'mon...]

i started adding more & more salt when listening to him slog along, & found to research N. Mandela [actor], D. Bowie [actor, faked death lol], & so many others

right on Bono

knowing about flat-Earth cosmology really is helpful when sussing out how people conduct their open lies [maybe they're ignorant, although it tends to come in heaps rather than technical missteps]

i can say i finished this book because i wanted to write the review [151 books in a year!], & that i knew between-the-lines was the way to go

hey, could be wrong; so i'll caveat & say these are strong hunches, w/ generous evidence

i would describe this book as a bunch of bullshit
