this was good(!)

essentially a philosophy book on the subject of creativity

Rick is a music producer, & so has some insights into setting the stage & harkening to our best, or to what is being sought

​​​​​​​this gives us some insight into his process; how he manages bands/musicians; how things are engineered for specific ears; etc.

i liked the essence of this work although i took very little directly from it -- a chapter ended w/ the notion "talent is what flows through us when we allow it," or something along the lines -- that is to say, the IDEA manifests itself, & the person is kind of a channel -- wherein if the channel refuses or cannot express, likely another will become the channel & it will be expressed in another way -- "the idea is ready"

each chapter seemingly ended w/ a gong/bell strike, which makes for an effective & kind of funny transition 👍
