well... really neat i'm thinkin'

a lady & her kids live on a boat sometime around the 1920s-1940s or so, after the husband/father passes...

she writes a memoir in the early 60s, this, which tells tales of her kids meeting/discovering wildlife, meeting tribes/indians, sleeping & living on a small boat [along w/ their dog]

it's a slice of time/life for sure, w/ most/much of it taking place in the Pacific Northwest between Washington & British Columbia along the straights

we hear about Orcas, slack tides, whale behaviors... personal & charming
