wow(!!) surprisingly good

found an audiobook version i could tolerate/get through & whizzed along

famously, this tells the tale of a hidden millionaire in the 1920s or so; dapper; & upstanding/stalwartly

the narrator [excellently] is a friend of Gatsby's, & tells the story as it unfolds before him

there are triangles of love, vehicular homicide, a funeral, murmurs of past, name-changes, college networking...

i guess my favorite aspect was the narrator & the language being used; his portrayal of Gatsby being something of a role model tho surrounded by demons... a goodfellow blending  w/ hard times
