a delightful book actually

audiobook read by the author 👍👍, this one tells the story of the Karate Kid -- well, the actor that played him; from audition to legacy

it's a keen insight into Macchio's work & mind, as he gives us his experiences & perspectives on how things came to be the way they got to be -- from Mr Miyagi to his fiercest rival -- to the new series Cobra Kai [which i've yet to see]

​​​​​​​a takeaway here is that Ralph landed a central role in a franchise legend that he was 'just right' for, as well as the rest of the original movie's cast

good stuff
