this was good; heartwarming; a bit bittersweet...

we hear a kind & loving tale of Martha's serendipitous meeting w/ Carol, her new beloved friend, & her matching bull terrier, Harry

as their friendship blooms & blossoms, Carol becomes debilitatingly sick & gives Harry to Martha, who of course has Minnie at home to consider

the dogs become pals [spoiler] as Martha sticks to Carol's side as best she can, up to the end; finally spreading ashes...

beautiful story; well told; worth reading
